Parkview Towers Update

United Methodist Church Union Pittsburgh-2Parkview Towers offers low-income senior housing in Munhall, PA and continues to be a safe place for its residents.

This summer, Parkview Towers organized their first annual Flea Market with the help and contribution of many of our residents. Because of this, we were able to make nearly a hundred dollars to put towards future resident activities. On June 30th we had a 4th of July Bar BQ to reward ourselves for the hard work!

United Methodist Church Union Pittsburgh-19On July 14, we joined UPMC’s health and wellness event, Wellapalooza. Having a booth there, we were able to share information about our housing at both Parkview Towers and Metowers with other seniors that attended the event at Phipp’s Conservatory. With over 300 people in attendance, many stopped by our table to learn about our services to benefit either themselves or someone they may know.

Parkview Towers cares for its residents by offering planned events to make sure their needs are taken care of. The scheduled activities for the month of July include group trips to the grocery store for anyone that United Methodist Church Union Pittsburgh-17may need help with transportation, blood pressure testing, book club meetings, health presentations, weekly Wii game nights, weekly bible studies, and much more.
